Church History

In the year 2001, The Lord laid upon the heart of Dr. Dieufaite Gary Guerrier the burden to start a ministry with a group of believers, the name given was “First Baptist Church Foundation of the Apostles Eph 2:20” which  is encouraging people in their spiritual and social life. The Church was birthed on Sunday June second, year of the Lord 2002. Which is built on the Holy Scripture (Ephesians 2:20) “And are built upon the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Jesus Christ himself being the chief corner stone”

Objective

Our objective is to bring people into a saving and redemptive relationship with God through Jesus-Christ. We are a spiritual body whose the Word of God is only foundation. We fulfill our ministry as we preach and teach, rebuke, correct, train in righteousness, so that the man of God may be thoroughly equipped for every good work. Pray with power, forgive and reconcile. Promote the Gospel and feed the hungry Children and Families. Our purpose is to build a stronger society by helping our youth to stay drug and alcohol free. To prevent child and domestic abuse, to sponsor after school programs, to develop counseling and education programs. These include achieving universal primary education, gender equality, and environmental sustainability, eradicating poverty and hunger. While the First Baptist Foundation cannot achieve these goals by its self, we seek to use our energies and resources in constructive ways and to work with others to make a difference.  We seek only to be God’s agents of healing and wholeness in a wounded and fragmented word. Our main objective is to bring Glory and honor to our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
